Yamato Transport has an English Airport TA-Q-BIN price chart on its website that lists the average cost of sending suitcases to and from the airport to general locations in Japan.

According to their FAQ page, the maximum luggage size per item is not more than 200 cm and a maximum weight of 30 kilos.

Once at a Yamato Transport counter, fill out the waybill form provided. 

The form itself includes an English translation of the Japanese labels. You can fill out the form in English; the counter staff will help you if you have any questions about any fields.

• Destination address and name

• Shipper's address and phone number

• The desired delivery date

• A description of the contents

Pay at the counter using a credit card or cash.

Save the waybill's receipt; you will need it to claim your luggage at your location. However, if you lose the waybill, you can use your passport to confirm your identity and pick up your luggage. 

Step 3. Travel hands-free and then pick up your luggage at your location. 

Receive the luggage at your designated location on the same day for certain locations.
